Michele Lee to Perform in Philadelphia and New Hope, PA in October 2016

Back from her long run in Broadway’s WICKED, Ms. Lee presents a new concert spotlighting the music of legendary Cy Coleman, including songs like “Nobody Does it Like Me” and “It’s Not Where You Start” from her Tony-nominated performance in the musical Seesaw, along with other magnificent work and some surprises from Coleman’s songbook.

One highlight of the show will be Michele’s interpretation of Broadway’s lead female character found in many Coleman musicals. Using a medley of his compositions including “Big Spender,” “Rules of the Road” and “I’m Gonna Laugh You Right Out of My Life,” Ms. Lee presents, “a loveable woman with a charitable heart.” The show will also feature Coleman favorites “The Best Is Yet to Come,” “Witchcraft” and others, from Sweet Charity to City of Angels and beyond.

Throwback to "Nobody Does It Like Me"

We still can't get enough of this duo together -- Michele Lee and Lucie Arnaz. The two stopped the show in "Lucie's Birthday Bash at Birdland" in New York City on July 17, 2006.

This is a completely unrehearsed performance of a song originally sung by both Lucie and Michele when they both starred in the Cy Coleman/Dorothy Fields/Michael Bennett/Tommy Tune Broadway hit, "Seesaw" (Michele on Broadway and Lucie in the first national tour). Although longtime friends and admirers of each other's work, this was the first time they had ever sung this song together. And it was one for the books. Those who were there are still talking about it.
