Michele competed in the category of Featured Actress in a Play. Michele's nomination is among THREE that "A Tale of the Allergist's Wife" has received -- the show has been nominated for Best Play, and Linda Lavin has been nominated for Leading Actress in a Play. The Tony Awards will aired live on Sunday, June 3rd on CBS. Michele continues in "Tale of the Allergist's Wife," the razor sharp new Broadway comedy written by Charles Busch.
Busch's play chronicles the spiritual turmoil of Marjorie (Linda
Lavin), a middle-aged Upper West Side doyenne, and how her life
changes when a stranger from the past (Michele Lee) arrives on
her doorstep. This deliciously devious social satire is filled
with wicked fun and delightful surprises.
Opened on November 2, 2000 at the Ethel Barrymore Theatre 243 West 47th Street, New York, New York. Tickets are available online through TeleCharge or by phone at: 1-800-432-7250 or 212-239-6200.
